Please share your experience working with students during the pandemic?

As a face-to-face and remote instructor for first-grade students, coming into the classroom physically while simultaneously ensuring sufficient assignments are loaded into Google Classroom weekly has been a challenge. I could have never imagined being so close and yet so far away from my students, wearing masks all day and conveying feelings of love, support, and hope when they can’t see my face. I am blessed to achieve great goals in everything I do with my students, and that is what keeps me going from day-to-day.

What advice would you give to people during this pandemic?

I would advise others to love friends and family as much as you can during this pandemic. In a time where you can be here one minute and gone in the next, we must humble ourselves and know it is better to give than it is to receive.
