Please share your experience working with students during the pandemic?

Since March 2020, I have worked with students, teachers, and families closely to help all community partners adapt emotionally, socially, and academically to meet the needs of all students. When the initial remote learning transition began, I worked with students and families by helping them understand the technology platforms and resources available to them. I assisted by co-teaching virtual classes. In addition, I played a role with student’s supply drive through lines and technology support to our vulnerable populations.

What advice would you give to people during this pandemic?

The best advice I can give to anyone during this pandemic is that collaboration is essential. This new norm of education will only be successful if we work together. We must increase our level of empathy and be ready to Pivot not Panic. This is what Aggies Do!
