Please share your experience working with patients diagnosed with COVID-19
I provide care for those who reside in nursing homes. I am thankful that none of my patients have tested positive for COVID-19 and we are following the guidelines set forth by the Department of Health and Human Services. My experience is knowing how sad patients and families are who can’t visit their loved ones. The staff has set up visits via FaceTime which is such a comfort and others who work in the practice are utilizing telehealth visits such as mental health and hospice providers.
What advice would you give to people during this pandemic?
Protect your friends, family, and coworkers by staying home.
Wear a mask when out in public place
Continue to social distance minimum of 6 feet
Wash hands for 20 seconds and use hand sanitizer when available.
Disinfect work stations
Obtain reliable information about COVID 19 from www.cdc.gov and www.who.int
And if you pray, then continue to pray, because this too shall pass.
We salute you for the caring that you provide to others if not by the Grace of God could be our parents, grandparents, or other relatives.
